Priya Sundram is an artist and designer based in London. She collaborates with cultural institutions communities, museums, publishers, newspapers and musicians to often uncover hidden narratives and engage underrepresented audiences. Her work encompasses print, projection, installation, animation and fabric design.
She is also co-director of Studio Carrom a multi-disciplinary UK/India design studio with regular collaborator - graphic designer / design historian - Nia Thandapani. Other collaborators include the V&A, National Maritime Museum, Queens House, William Morris Gallery, Cambridge University, Imperial War Museum, Cambridge Botanic Gardens, Museum of Archeology & Anthropolgy, British Council, Waltham Forest Council, rb&h Arts, Financial Times, Vital Arts, LA Times, British Medical Journal & Big Issue. Priya holds a BA Illustration Camberwell, MA Communication Art & Design Royal College of Art, MA Curating Collections and Heritage Brighton and has been Associate Lecturer on MA Illustration Camberwell.
